T-bills are short-term, zero-coupon discount securities (91–364 days). Bonds are longer-term instruments (2–10 years) that pay semi-annual coupons. These are considered the lowest-risk LRD-denominated investments, backed by the full faith and credit of the Republic of Liberia.
